This aligns with the constructivist theory...how we are learning upon learning and how we can use collaboration to discover and invent and explore creativity. Josh is on the right road.

I believe that Josh is right. If somebody tells you to build something, you will obviously make it with the characteristics of something else. Josh has a really creative mind.

Although the audio is not available, Josh's body language speaks for itself. He appears to be an out-spoken individual who uses a lot of conviction when communicating. I expect he has learned much of this behaviour from his parent(s) -- possible one more than the other?

What a thinker Josh is! It's my opinion that many kids today are so used to having "technological advances" surrounding them that they never even stop to think what it was like when they didn't exist. The fact that he is questioning "how did they do that" is exciting. Now that is higher level thinking!

His inquisitive nature is more than commendable. But the fact that he links some ideas and inventions is awesome. It reminds me of the Papert example about how the jet engine was developed originally to help the stagecoach.

Curiosity is the mother of invention.
